Front-end Engineer
At BTG Pactual I work on a team that runs like a startup inside the bank, building and maintaining eight Angular applications in parallel across asset management, investment orders and Latin American accounts, on a micro frontend architecture with Module Federation, and migrating apps from Angular 14 to 20 and 22. Before that, on an LNG management platform for EDGE / Compass, I built the Contracts, Scheduling and Supply modules, led the rewrite of an undocumented automatic-ordering flow, and shipped NestJS endpoints.
Software Engineer
Joined as a junior, was promoted to mid-level and became frontend tech lead. At Toyota I led about five frontend developers on an international connected-car platform, working in English, reviewing code for every team and setting the application patterns. At Globo I was one of two frontend developers on the seven-person team that built Cartola Express in about three months to launch during Big Brother Brasil. Before that: multi-tenant back-offices and legacy AngularJS at C6 Bank, and KYC micro frontends at Santander.

I'm Luiz, a Product Engineer based in Brazil. My philosophy is simple: complexity should be handled by the system, not the user.
For over 5 years I've built Angular and React applications for banks and large companies, with Node.js and Bun on the backend when the product needs it. Today I'm at GFT Technologies, working for BTG Pactual; before that, four years at Accenture for Santander, C6 Bank, Globo and Toyota, where I became frontend tech lead of an international team.
I like talking to the business early, setting standards the team can follow and taking on the legacy code nobody wants to touch until it runs stable.
Outside working hours I'm the founder and core developer of Zard/ui, the shadcn/ui model for Angular, with 1.2K stars on GitHub. That's where I put design system decisions to the test.
